About the Company: for a major fintech company, our Recruitment Engineers are looking for a Python Developer.

Core responsibilities:

As a Backend Software Engineer you will join a fast paced team and you will work on the most recent technologies on the AWS cloud stack. We are looking for a motivated software engineer willing to learn and to take risks in a rapidly evolving environment.The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in software engineering. A BSc in Computer Science or related fields is not essential, but nice to have.

Must Have:

• Proved experience with Python and the Django framework;
• ETL workflows (XML, JSON, API);
• Experience with SQL and relational databases;
• Familiarity with web development frameworks and REST paradigm;
• Familiarity with development tools (git) and methodologies (versioning, testing, code reviews);

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure (EC2, Lambda, RDS);
• Knowledge of webapps (CSS, JavaScript, Flask, HTML5);
• Basic knowledge of Linux OS;
• NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis);
