Core Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager & Business Analyst – Retail Innovation, you will lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives aimed at transforming the in-store customer experience, with a particular focus on self-service checkout, payment on the floor, smart retail technologies, and the “Future Store.”
- You will oversee all project phases, from ideation to execution, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and achievement of strategic business objectives;
- Your role will be pivotal in driving innovation, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and delivering tangible value to our retail operations;
- Lead large-scale, innovative projects in the retail environment, including the deployment of self-checkout solutions, payment on the floor evolutions, digital store transformations, and implementation of next-generation technologies;
- Partner with internal stakeholders (IT, Operations, Store Managers);
- External vendors and implementation partners governance to define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria;
- Develop comprehensive project charters, integrated project and resource plans, and risk management strategies tailored to retail innovation initiatives;
- Facilitate key project meetings (Kick Off, Status Updates, Steering Committees), ensuring alignment and timely decision-making;
- Analyze existing store processes and customer journeys to uncover improvement opportunities, driving requirements gathering for new in-store technologies;
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, UX/UI designers, and technology teams to define and validate innovative solutions;
- Ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements and enhance the customer experience;
- Coordinate and oversee user acceptance testing, pilot phases, and successful roll-outs of new retail technologies.
