About the Company: for an outstanding Italian gov-tech startup, our Recruitment Engineers are looking for a Lead Software Engineer.

Core responsibilities:

• Participate in planning, architecture, and research around the BonusX technology development.
• Lead development and maintenance of cloud services and applications.
• Use of best practices and focus on code security.
• Manage our growing dev team and help them grow professionally and personally.
• Support in the implementation of the software architecture.
• Detailed API documentation.

Must have:

• 5+ year of previous experience in team leading.
• Very good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJs, and ReactJs.
• Very good knowledge of Redis and Docker.
• A high level of experience with development tools (git, ssh, etc.).
• A high level of knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases.
• A high level of experience in building API-driven web applications and microservices.
• Fluen English speaker (at least B2).

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
• Knowledge of DevOps on AWS or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.

• A high level of experience in building API-driven web applications and microservices.
