Core responsibilities:
- Systems Monitoring and Maintenance: Oversee the monitoring and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring their optimal performance and availability.
- Incident Management: Manage and respond to IT incidents promptly, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.
- Infrastructure Management: Maintain and administer IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, and storage systems to support business operations effectively.
- Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies and standards by implementing security controls, conducting audits, and addressing vulnerabilities.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain documentation for IT systems and processes, facilitating knowledge sharing among team members and stakeholders.
- Drive innovation: Discover, evaluate, and implement new services to ensure continuous innovation and improvement.
- Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations: assessing the IT infrastructure, creating a plan, performing backups, testing, implementing changes, monitoring and resolving issues
- Follow and support the vendor for the integration of new systems: collaborating with external vendors to ensure seamless integration of new systems into the existing IT infrastructure.
