About the Company: for a research and consulting firm based in Switzerland, our Recruitment Engineers are looking for a Data Engineer & Backend Developer

Must have:

• Extensive experience with Python for backend development and data engineering tasks.
• Proficient in SQL/NoSQL databases, and cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Expertise in working with Big Data tools such as Apache Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop.
• Strong focus on ensuring data accuracy, processing efficiency, and system reliability.
• Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data solutions.
• Strong background in building scalable data pipelines and designing backend systems for optimal data flow.
• Must have advanced proficiency in English to effectively communicate in a professional setting.

Nice to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
